As we head into another week, I take great pleasure in sharing my curated articles, tips & tools in a short read that will hopefully give you a few ‘aha’ moments as well as some laughter or joy. Most of all I hope it gives you pragmatic inspiration & helps you on your journey to doing what you love, with people you love, making a huge difference, being compensated appropriately with time to pursue other passions – #TheEOSLife.

Here’s this week’s business tip, life hack & find of the week… Some of them are original, most are things I have come across in my weekly pursuit of self-improvement & living a better life, through creating a better business. And don’t forget the inspirational quote, which you can download as a wallpaper or lock screen for your phone.

As always, if you find great things that you’d like to share then feel free to email me for inclusion in one of my weekly newsletters. I’m always looking for new & exciting things to share each week. And if you think someone else would like to receive the newsletter in their inbox, directly from my inbox (no newsletter apps used here!) then please let me know – debra@debrachantry-taylor.com

BETTER BUSINESS

Are you really solving your issues?

Do you have issues that keep appearing time & time again in your business? Maybe it’s because you’re not solving them at the root cause.

As humans, we’re quick to jump into solving mode, but maybe we should spend a bit more time understanding the real issue.

I wrote this blog for the EOS worldwide website to help people solve issues at their root cause… so that they never come back!

BETTER LIFE

7 everyday productivity Hacks

We all know higher productivity leads to producing more, but we are human after all, so mistakes can be made when working at speed. The 7 brain hacks below can help us be more productive while still maintaining our high standard of work:

  1. Set an intention
  2. Meditate
  3. Take regular breaks
  4. Avoid giving in to temptation
  5. Alternate high and low-focus tasks
  6. Drink plenty of water
  7. Develop a positive mindset

If you focus on working in dedicated timeslots, focusing your brain and eliminating distractions, then rewarding yourself with breaks after X amount of productive work, you may surprise yourself with just how much more you can tick off your to-do list – remember you can’t control the time, but you can control what you do during that time.

FIND OF THE WEEK

Building Relationships, Rapport & Referrals to produce Results

Have you spent your business career ensuring that you are showing appreciation to your team only for them to not turn out the best results? Or do your customers constantly tell you how much they like your service or product, but you are yet to see an increase in referrals?

Sometimes we think we are creating bonds or building rapport, when in reality we are actually damaging the relationship. It’s time to put the questionable antics aside and make certain that you are using the best tools to help produce results.

Strategic appreciation helps businesses with mentorship, identifying targets, creating action steps and creative appreciation solutions to build stronger, longer-lasting relationships that build brand loyalty, motivate staff and execute highly effective connections.
