As we head into another week, I take great pleasure in sharing my curated articles, tips & tools in a short read that will hopefully give you a few ‘aha’ moments as well as some laughter or joy. Most of all I hope it gives you pragmatic inspiration & helps you on your journey to doing what you love, with people you love, making a huge difference, being compensated appropriately with time to pursue other passions – #TheEOSLife.

Here’s this week’s business tip, life hack & find of the week… Some of them are original, most are things I have come across in my weekly pursuit of self-improvement & living a better life, through creating a better business. And don’t forget the inspirational quote, which you can download as a wallpaper or lock screen for your phone.

As always, if you find great things that you’d like to share then feel free to email me for inclusion in one of my weekly newsletters. I’m always looking for new & exciting things to share each week. And if you think someone else would like to receive the newsletter in their inbox, directly from my inbox (no newsletter apps used here!) then please let me know – debra@debrachantry-taylor.com

BETTER BUSINESS

Measure, set, score

Ninety days is all it takes for the leadership team to wilt. Therefore it is vital to hold quarterly planning sessions. As a business owner, you are responsible for putting the spark back into the business and ensuring it is heading in the right direction.

As we all know, some things in the day-to-day running of the business are ‘easy’ to track; other times, we are tracking numbers but not utilising them – there is not a one size fits all list of what to measure or how to measure and to find these areas can take time!

The best way to find what works for you and your business is through the discovery process and applying the EOS Scorecard™. This scorecard gives you the story of how you are tracking, gives you clear data and helps to ensure you stay on the path to your goals.

BETTER LIFE

Now’s the Time to Live Life Anywhere

WFH is a somewhat new acronym that has made itself right at ‘home’ these past few years, but it has now had an upgrade to WFA (work from anywhere). And whilst we have settled into this new way of life, we must also ensure that the company culture stays at the forefront of our minds. While we no longer have to deal with the commute, we have lost many aspects of people engagement, interaction and togetherness. These 5 easy to implement tips below are surefire ways to keep the team engaged and build on your winning culture.

  1. Social Hour
  2. Company meetings
  3. Slack Channels
  4. Culture team
  5. Outside resources

Learn how to implement these and set your company up for success here.
