As we head into another week, I take great pleasure in sharing my curated articles, tips & tools in a short read that will hopefully give you a few ‘aha’ moments as well as some laughter or joy. Switch off from the outside world
I think everyone on a Leadership Team should have a remarkable. I know I have mentioned this wonderful gadget before (when I first scored one with my windfall) but seriously, now that I have had it for a couple of months, I am a wee bit obsessed…. In a good way!
For someone who suffers from ADHD & gets easily distracted, even when I am not on a computer or phone or iPad with things popping up, this device is a godsend.
You can write, draw & scribble on pdfs & books without any possibility of being distracted by anything online.
It’s still connected to my Dropbox, OneDrive & google drive so you can get to all the files that you need & bring them onto your Remarkable pad but you can’t browse or get distracted by emails or messages. It’s just like having a notepad, except that you can convert to text, send the pdfs to yourself & store everything nice 7 neatly into folders.
So, imagine if your leadership team had these in meetings?
They could scribble away but you would know that they are no more distracted than if they had a pad of paper in front of them,. This could be the best Level 10 Meeting tool yet!
Combine it with the eink pads template installer & you can design your own templates – use existing templates – create templates in word etc & upload them to your Remarkable.
And you can even plug it into your laptop & beam it up onto the big screen.
It is also great for your Clarity Breaks where you want to scribble & write without any distractions. I feel this is an EOS game changer!

I had the pleasure of talking to Rob Hughes on my podcast last week. He is a Certified Story Brand Guide and he introduced me to the book, “Building a Story Brand”.
I have only just started the first few pages so don’t expect any amazing nuggets just yet but what I heard about it on the podcast was enough to get me excited.
The premise is that by using stories you get clarity in your messaging.
From what I can see it’s based on the work by Joseph Campbell on the Heroes journey – the same premise that all good movies & books use about how the hero goes on an adventure, is victorious in a decisive crisis, and comes home changed or transformed.
But it relates to marketing your service or product.
The book promises to make marketing easy:

- Get Serious Results!
